Who We Are
JL Carbon Pte. Ltd. (“JLC”) is a Singapore based company established since 2018 which has regional presence in South East Asia Countries, India, Europe and China. JLC owns graphite electrode manufacturing facility in China.
We have been making high-quality graphite electrodes for use in electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces and non-ferrous smelting applications. Steel remains the most recycled material in the world and JLC continues to play a crucial role in the life cycle of this environmental frontrunner.
Covid-19 and climate change have accelerated our board of directors’ persistence on digital transformation and corporate focus on sustainability and long-term value.
In line with society’s progress in achieving the goal of the UN Paris Agreement on climate change, JLC aims is to become a net-zero emissions business by 2050.
We Are Committed To Decarbonization
Being a sustainability driven graphite electrode manufacturer, JLC is committed to produce high quality of electrode so to effectively reduce the electrode consumption in EAF based steel production.
With anti-oxidant dipping technology on electrode surface to reduce the oxidization during arching process, JLC has proven to further reduce the electrode consumption by 15-20%
Improvement of the dedusting process with carbon capture capability that aims to achieve zero waste manufacturing within our premises.
JLC continuously exploring renewable energy project to progressively net off the huge amount of electricity used in electrode graphitization process.
Our Product
Graphite Electrode for EAF & LF
Providing very high levels of electrical and thermal conductivity, graphite is the only material able to withstand the extreme temperatures while retaining their strength and stability.
Material Grade
Our graphite electrodes consist of 3 different grades; UHP (ultra high power), SHP (super high power) and HP (high power).
Manufacturing Facilities
Our graphite electrodes manufacturing process is fully equipped with cutting edge technology to preserve the thermo-energy, operate low temperature steel making, reduce slag generation and thus increase the steel production yield.
Stocks and Packaging
All of JLC graphite electrodes are tested before delivering to customers. We have strict processes in handling the packaging to ensure the graphite electrodes are not damaged during the storage and delivery process.
